Waterloo Region enjoys the Thanksgiving Day Parade on King Street

Your Thanksgiving weekend just got a whole lot more exciting! The annual Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest Thanksgiving Day Parade returned in 2022 and will be even bigger for 2023! With even more new floats, inflatables & bands! We’re so excited that we want to SHOUT THIS FROM THE ROOFTOPS!

Parade Route

The parade starts at 8:30 am at the corner of Weber Street East and Frederick Street.

The parade travels up Weber Street and finishes at the Bridgeport Plaza at the corner of Weber and Bridgeport around 10:00 am.

Important information:

Arrive early! The Onkel Hans Food Drive will be collecting monetary donations and non-perishable food items in support of the Food Bank of Waterloo Region right before the parade begins, or DONATE ONLINE HERE!

Spectators of all ages are welcome to enjoy the parade, but please leave pets at home.

Dress for the weather! The parade runs rain or shine.

Make sure you get the best seat in the house! Bleacher seats are limited, and will go on sale shortly!
