Your Thanksgiving weekend just got a whole lot more exciting! The annual Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest Thanksgiving Day Parade returned in 2022 and will be even bigger for 2023! With even more new floats, inflatables & bands! We’re so excited that we want to SHOUT THIS FROM THE ROOFTOPS!

Monday, October 9, 2023. The parade starts at 8:30 am at the corner of Weber Street East and Frederick Street.
The parade travels up Weber Street and finishes at the Bridgeport Plaza at the corner of Weber and Bridgeport around 10:00 am.
Frederick Street is closed from Duke to Edna from 6:30am – 10am. Weber Street is closed Scott to Noecker starting at 8:20am and opens as the parade passes.

Arrive early! The Onkel Hans Food Drive will be collecting monetary donations and non-perishable food items in support of the Food Bank of Waterloo Region right before the parade begins, or DONATE ONLINE HERE!
Spectators of all ages are welcome to enjoy the parade, but please leave pets at home.
Dress for the weather! The parade runs rain or shine.
