Building on the 50-year legacy of the K-W Oktoberfest Rogers Women of the Year Awards, the Waterloo Region Women’s Expo expands the celebration of women’s achievements and contributions to our community. This exciting new event brings together local businesses, leaders, and changemakers to create a dynamic space for connection, inspiration, and empowerment.
With engaging speakers, interactive workshops, and a showcase of local businesses, the Expo is designed to honour the incredible impact women have made in the Waterloo Region while fostering opportunities for growth and collaboration. Join us as we continue to celebrate and elevate women’s voices and accomplishments!

Join us for a fun-filled day as we celebrate the incredible Erick Traplin and his over 35-year career bringing joy to families across the region! With activities for all ages throughout the day, the highlight will be a special 1 p.m. celebration to say a heartfelt thank you to Erick.
Enjoy live performances, special guests, free games, activities and more as we honour the person who has been a cherished part of so many childhoods. Whether you’ve sung along as a parent or grown up with Erick’s music, we can’t wait to have you join us for an afternoon of fun, music and memories to celebrate his career and commitment to our community.

Raise your stein in the Biergarten, savour authentic German cuisine from one of our food vendors, shop our local vendor market, or sing along in front of the Circle K stage at one of our live performances – Oktoberfest is bringing the best of it to DTK!

Meet the Ludwig Caesar, the KING of Oktoberfest Caesars. A 2oz Caesar with sauerkraut ice cubes and rimmed with Oktoberfest Mustard and Snyder’s of Hanover pretzel dust. Piled high with a half an Oktoberfest Sausage, a King’s Hawaiian Original Sweet Roll Schnitzel Slider, and a Grain Harvest Hot Pretzel! You’ll find this at the Upper Bar in the Willkommen Platz. Back again for 2025, our four-legged besties can attend their own Oktoberfest event! In partnership with Dog Friendly K-W and supported by Global Pet Food, dogs and their people are invited to take part in trick training advice, pack walks, contests and other furry shenanigans! Pssst…it’s also free to attend!
Event Guidelines:
– Your dog must remain on a 6-foot leash at all times. No retractable leashes!
– Provide space to others around you.
– Refrain from introductions without asking for permission.
– Please refrain from bringing chews or toys for your pup to the event.
