New FARMtoberfest exhibit hosted by Farm Food Care Ontario as part of their popular Breakfast on the Farm series.
This unique, family-friendly event brings the best of Ontario’s farms to the city streets — and there’s something for everyone to enjoy!
Whether you’re a curious kid, a foodie, or simply looking for a fun way to spend your morning, FARMtoberfest has it all. The event will showcase a wide variety of interactive attractions and hands-on displays that highlight the people, animals and innovation behind Ontario farms and food systems.

Willkommen Platz – “Welcome Place”
Join us Friday, October 10th, Saturday, October 11th & Sunday, October 12th as Downtown Kitchener transforms into a bustling Bavarian village like you’ve never seen it before – outdoors along King Street from Queen Street to Kitchener City Hall!
Raise your stein in the Biergarten, savour authentic German cuisine from one of our food vendors, shop our local vendor market or sing along in front of the Circle K Main Stage at one of our live performances! K-W Oktoberfest is bringing the spirit of Gemütlichkeit to DTK!

Grab your stick and gather your team — it’s time for Hockey with Hans! This youth ball hockey tournament brings the excitement of Oktoberfest to the streets of Downtown Kitchener with two full days of high-energy games, community spirit, and festival fun.
Open to youth teams from U7 to U19, this tournament offers divisions for both competitive and fun play, so whether you’re chasing the championship or just looking for a great time with friends, there’s a spot for you.
When you’re not hitting the pavement, visit the community rink sponsored by the Kitchener Rangers, snag a Bavarian pretzel, and soak up the Oktoberfest vibes steps away at Willkommen Platz — with food trucks, live music, vendor markets, and special appearances from Onkel Hans & the WunderWagen.
