Join us Friday, October 9th, Saturday, October 10th & Sunday, October 11th as Downtown Kitchener transforms into a bustling Bavarian village like you’ve never seen it before – outdoors along King Street from Queen Street to Kitchener City Hall!
Raise your stein in the Biergarten, savour authentic German cuisine from one of our food vendors, shop our local vendor market or sing along in front of the Circle K Main Stage at one of our live performances! K-W Oktoberfest is bringing the spirit of Gemütlichkeit to DTK!

Location: Carl Zehr Square (200 King Street West, Kitchener) & along King Street from Queen Street to Kitchener City Hall
All events in the Willkommen Platz have FREE entry! Event is outdoors. Please dress accordingly.

2025 K-W Oktoberfest Thanksgiving Day Parade
Your Thanksgiving weekend just wouldn’t be the same without it… The Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest Thanksgiving Day Parade is returning in 2025, bringing the music, magic, and memories that families have loved for generations. From dazzling floats to favourite marching bands, it’s the parade you grew up watching… and the one your kids will remember too. The tradition continues, and you’re invited!
The Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest Thanksgiving Day Parade is taking place Monday, October 13th at 9:30am. Check out how you can get involved with this this annual tradition!
Parade Route
The parade begins at the corner of Weber Street East and Frederick Street, on Monday, October 13, 2025 at 9:30am!
The parade travels up Weber Street and finishes at the Bridgeport Road at the corner of Weber and Bridgeport around Noon.
Frederick Street is closed from Duke to Edna from 7:00am – 11am. Weber Street is closed Scott to Noecker starting at 9:20am and opens as the parade passes.

Important information:
Arrive early! The Onkel Hans Food Drive will be collecting monetary donations and non-perishable food items in support of The Food Bank of Waterloo Region right before the parade begins or DONATE ONLINE HERE! You can now TEXT TO GIVE > text PARADE to 30333.
Spectators of all ages are welcome to enjoy the parade, but please leave pets at home.
Dress for the weather! The parade runs rain or shine.
Parade Bleacher Tickets
Enjoy the Oktoberfest Thanksgiving Day Parade – Monday, October 13, 2025 at 9:30am from the Parade Bleachers, located at Queen Street & Weber Street, Kitchener.
Tickets are available for only $10 per person. Bleacher seats are limited.
