Kinderfest is a Bavarian themed, one-day fall fair tailored specifically for families with kids aged 2 – 11. This year, we’re packing twice the entertainment into a single day of magic and fun, including live shows, petting zoo, bouncy inflatables, cookie decorating, face painting, and more.

Meet the Ludwig Caesar, the KING of Oktoberfest Caesars. A 2oz Caesar with sauerkraut ice cubes and rimmed with Oktoberfest Mustard and Snyder’s of Hanover pretzel dust. Piled high with a half an Oktoberfest Sausage, a King’s Hawaiian Original Sweet Roll Schnitzel Slider, and a Grain Harvest Hot Pretzel! You’ll find this at the Upper Bar in the Willkommen Platz. The Alpine Club + Transylvania Club = Habsburg Haus!

Habsburg Haus, hosted at the Alpine Club, is a truly authentic Oktoberfest experience presented by the Alpine and Transylvania Clubs.

The kitchen will be serving up our tasty and popular meals including schnitzel, sausage, cabbage rolls and other mouth-watering traditional options. New this year is the regular addition of Transylvania Club pig tails. As is tradition, one item you won’t want to miss is the apple strudel – handmade by Alpine Club members.

Be entertained by the music of Wildbahn as well as performances from our own Alpine Dancers and Transylvania Club Dancers as well as a variety of other dance groups throughout the festival.

So You Think You Can Tanz is an event you SHOULD NOT MISS – the friendly competition which started out as a way to showcase each dance group from the local German Clubs and turned out to be the busiest night of the festival – at any club.

It is never to early to start planning your trip to Oktoberfest at the Habsburg Haus!

Concordia is Canada’s ‘home’ of Oktoberfest. With a seating capacity of close to 4,000, Concordia has established the second largest Oktoberfest in the world right here in Kitchener Waterloo. It’s been a resounding success story from day one!

This year’s Oktoberfest will be a return to a celebration that we are looking forward to!
