Kids Oktoberfest Cooking
with The Culinary Studio
Get the kids in the kitchen and make your best pancake breakfast ever! The Culinary Studio team will walk you through all of the steps in your kitchen!
Your Ingredient List (please have everything measured out and ready to go!)
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup white sugar
- ½ tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- ½ tsp. baking soda
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 2 cups buttermilk, we love Harmony Organic
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted (more to grease the pan)
Optional Additions: Maple Syrup, Whipped Cream, Chocolate Chips, Fresh or Frozen Berries

Oktoberfest Craft Project
with Mindful Makers
Craft along with Agnes from Mindful Makers to create a festive alpine hat and ostrich feather from paper!
Materials to gather:
- 3 sheet of construction paper measuring 9″x12″ (2 sheets for the hat, 1 for the feather)
- scotch tape or masking tape
- a stapler
- scissors
- glue stick
- pipe cleaner
- elastic cord, or ribbon/yarn for the chin strap
- markers/crayons optional for decorating

Celebrate Oktoberfest with Hannah and her friends as KPL Kids and KIDtoberfest presents: Storytime with Hannah and Friends Live! It’s time for Fairytale mayhem! All of your favourite fairytale characters have escaped their stories and are creating chaos in the library. We need your help to catch them all and put them back into their stories just in time for storytime.
