We are fortunate to have someone with Alfred’s competence and experience to step into this complex and demanding position.”

“I am honored to have the opportunity to continue to work for Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest and it’s over 500 volunteers who are the heart, soul and embodiment of what we do,” says Lowrick. “I have so much respect and admiration for the businesses, sponsors and our extensive community service partners that make up our brand and organization.”

Alfred will replace Dave MacNeil who has resigned effective September 11, 2017. Dave has been the Executive Director for over four years and has been with Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest as a volunteer for nearly 20 years in various capacities including 2nd Vice-President and Director of Marketing.
