Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest is expanding
its impact on the Regional community for the fourth year running with its accredited Festahallen in Cambridge!
The Cambridge Bavaria Haus will be open from Friday, October 11th - Saturday, October 12th; following the official opening of Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest at Cambridge City Hall on Wednesday, October 9th. Each night will host fantastic local band "Ties that Bind" and tickets are just $15 without a meal or $25 with a meal.
Food will be served from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm, with lots of finger food and snacks available until 1:00 am.
The City of Cambridge will host a free Oktoberfest lunch, courtesy of M&M Meat Shops, at 12 noon on Wednesday, October 9th. There will be an official keg tapping ceremony and Maypole Raising, with Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest officials including Miss Oktoberfest and Onkel Hans, and live
entertainment from The Black Forest Band.
The celebrations continue under the leadership of the Rotary Club of Cambridge (Preston-Hespeler). The charitable organization will bring a multitude of entertainment to the festhalle along with traditional food.
The Rotary Club has a long history in Cambridge beginning on April 29th, 1926. The group represents both men and woman and membership currently sits at 35.
