The Media Meister is a contest put forth every year challenging radio stations to get creative and come up with a Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest version of a popular song that reflects the genre of their station. Winners of the Media Meister are announced at the new festhallen Chicopee Haus during Media Night and appear in the Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest Thanksgiving Day Parade.

This year, Digital North joined us in announcing that the 2012 Media Meister was 99.5 KFUN, whose song “Okto-Bladi Okto-Blada,” a spoof on Obladi Oblada by The Beatles, was heard on the Laura, Sarge and Larry morning show.
