Conventions & Themed Events

Let the "Spirit of Gemuetlichkeit" continue year round! Why not launch your convention or function with some "oompah-pah" or bid "Auf Wiedershen" by giving your delegates the true flavour of Kitchener-Waterloo with an Oktoberfest Theme. For groups of 30 to 3,000 we will customize a special Oktoberfest Themed Event that promises fun, good times and above all, a successful and memorable event for you and your guests!

Some Event Ideas Include: Award Nights, Fundraisers, Retirements, Social Functions, Anniversaries, Client Appreciation, Conventions.

Pricing Details

Decorating

Your venue will have a genuine Bavarian Festhalle atmosphere. Our volunteers will put in the time and labour by decorating your venue with nylon and paper banners to give your delegates the feel of walking into a Bavarian Festhalle!

Meeting & Greeting

Your delegates will be welcomed by our volunteers in traditional Bavarian tracht and will receive a souvenir upon entering the venue.

Keg Tapping

The Official Keg Tapping Ceremony is the highlight of our annual Festival and we will re-enact it for you! Two of your representatives will assist us in the tapping of the keg. All delegates can come and fill their steins with a sample and raise it up for a traditional cheer of "Ein Prosit!" Official greetings will be extended by our president, Miss Oktoberfest or our mascot Onkel Hans to add to the "Spirit of Gemuetlichkeit," all under the guidance of our Master of Ceremonies!

Entertainment

We can arrange to have an award winning Bavarian Band with a repertoire of polkas, waltzes and contemporary music. Add a Bavarian Folk Dance Group to perform traditional Bavarian dance for your delegates.

Souvenirs

Add colour and a keepsake of your event by including souvenirs such as pins, hats, feathers or even your own customized stein or t-shirt.

Bus Tours

We can give your tours their own "Mini-Oktoberfest" celebrated any time during the year at one of our German-Canadian Clubs or your destination venue hosted by our volunteers in traditional Bavarian Tracht. You may also include a mouth-watering Bavarian style lunch or dinner!

Out of Town Events

The Convention Committee will arrange an Oktoberfest Theme for events held outside Kitchener-Waterloo. The only additional cost would be the transportation & other expenses of our volunteers and equipment.

Non-alcoholic events

The "Spirit of Gemuetlichkeit" and good times can certainly be had without alcoholic beverages.

If your event is for minors, or you do not wish beer in the keg, we can fill our Ceremonial Keg with apple juice, ginger ale, root beer or whatever you choose!

Pricing Details

Oktoberfest Theme Night Packages include decorating of main venue, meeting & greeting, Keg tapping and Special Guests.

Willkommen Package: 100 delegates or less, starting from $750

Wunderbar Package: 101 to 500 delegates, starting from $1,000

Gemuetlichkeit Package: 500+ delegates, starting from $1,200

Entertainment
Bands - from $1,200 (4 hours)
Dance Groups - from $450
Other - prices vary according to your selection

Payment Terms
Deposit - 10% upon signing contract agreement.
Final Balance - due 7 days prior to your event
Please note that you are responsible for any special liquor license requirements and purchasing the beer to fill the ceremonial keg
