On Monday, October 11, the chicken won't just cross the road, he'll race down it for 5km! Kick-off the Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest Thanksgiving Day Parade by participating in the ONKEL HANS 5K FUN RUN to support the Home Caregiver’s Programme; which provides essential pyshical, spiritual, emotional, legal and financial information to those who are giving care to their loved ones who are seriously ill at home. Winners of the Onkel Hans 5K Fun Run will be whisked away to ride in the Oktoberfest Thanksgiving Day Parade!
Registration: 6:30am to 7:45am, Waterloo City Hall
Start Location: King & William St., Waterloo
Start Time: 8:15am
Time Limit: 45 minutes
Finish Line: Kitchener Memorial Auditorium Complex
Don't Miss the Onkel Hans 5K Fun Run!
- Thousands of spectators cheering you on
- Top male & female will appear in the Parade and will receive an authentic German Stein!
- Waterstation on the route
- Bag drop-off at registration. Pick up at finish line.
- Free shuttle bus back to Waterloo City Hall
- T-shirt to all registrants
- Free commemorative tshirt to the first 100 registrants

MOOSE WINOOSKI'S CORPORATE TEAM CHALLENGE!
Winners of the Corporate Team Challenge ($150 Registration fee for 4 people) will be determined by the amount of pledges raised. The winning team will win a prize package from Moose Winooski's! What a great way for you and your co-workers to do something fun for a great cause! All corporate teams are encouraged to dress up in crazy Oktoberfest costumes - traditional or fun!!
