Celebrity Chef Corbin plans to put a little oompah-pah on your plate at Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest's Stein & Dine Event

Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest, in partnership with Molson Coors Canada, is excited to welcome the return of nationally acclaimed Canadian Chef Corbin, to the popular Stein & Dine Culinary Experience. Stein & Dine will take place Thursday, September 4, 2014 at the Waterloo Inn.

“Corbin was an extraordinary guest last year – he was entertaining, interacted with the audience, and, of course, prepared a fantastic dinner. It was an easy choice to invite him back for 2014’s Stein & Dine event,” says Dave MacNeil, Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest Executive Director.

Chef Corbin will prepare a multi-course Bavarian inspired meal in front of a crowd of over 250 guests at this unique Oktoberfest culinary experience. Each course will highlight traditional Bavarian foods, while providing a specially selected beer pairing with beers from Molson Coors Canada.

Canada’s homegrown Chef Corbin is a chef with a unique vision: to bring meaning back to the world of food. In all of his projects, Corbin focuses on food as a way to bring friends and family together, rather than adhering to any strict rules. He has travelled extensively to discover what food means to people from all walks of life. “No matter where you go, everyone celebrates with food…The best part of my job is meeting amazing people and getting to know them over a home-cooked meal,” says Corbin. A complete bio for Chef Corbin can be found at www.chefcorbin.ca.

Stein & Dine will also feature Cicerone Steve Riley, who will provide an explanation of the beer pairings to add to each diner’s enjoyment. Steve is the Founder and President of Betterbeer.com and one of only eight Certified Cicerones (Beer Sommeliers) in Canada.
