Celebrity Chef Corbin joins Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest's Stein & Dine Event

Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest, in partnership with Molson Coors Canada, is excited to welcome nationally acclaimed Canadian Chef Corbin, to the popular Stein & Dine Culinary Experience. Stein & Dine will take place Thursday, September 5, 2013 from 6pm - 10pm at the Waterloo Inn.

Chef Corbin will prepare a multi-course Bavarian inspired meal in front of a crowd of over 250 guests at this unique Oktoberfest culinary experience. Each course will highlight traditional Bavarian foods, while providing a specially selected beer pairing with beers from Molson Coors Canada.

“Corbin is an entertaining and creative chef, who will add a new level of flair to an already exciting event. We’re looking forward to tasting what he cooks up!” says Dave MacNeil, Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest Executive Director.

Canada’s homegrown Chef Corbin believes food should do one of two things: create memorable experiences or remind oneself of an unforgettable time. His passion, drive and creativity have been a part of his popularity on Dinner Party Wars, Restaurant Makeover, Crash My Kitchen and the new hit show Restaurant Takeover on Food Network Canada. This talented chef was raised with his five siblings on a farm in a rural community outside of Edmonton, Alberta. Corbin often watched with wide eyes as his mother and grandmother made heartwarming dishes that brought the whole family together. Corbin’s appreciation for fresh, flavourful ingredients runs deep, and he is known for his ability to rebuild lackluster menus with his signature style and attention to detail. A complete bio for Chef Corbin can be found at www.chefcorbin.ca.

Stein & Dine will also feature Cicerone Steve Riley, who will provide an explanation of the beer pairings to add to each diner’s enjoyment. Steve is the Founder and President of Betterbeer.com and one of only eight Certified Cicerones (Beer Sommeliers) in Canada.

Tickets for this fine dining event, now in its third year, are now on sale! Contact Laurie Davison (lauried@oktoberfest.ca) for more information on tickets and corporate tables.
