Oktoberfest Citizenship Court

Call to order at 10:00 am

Waterloo North Kiwanis Club with the students and staff of Winston Churchill School will witness a special Oktoberfest Citizenship Court to be conducted in the auditorium. Approximately 20 - 25 new Canadians will be sworn in by a Citizenship Court Judge and will receive their Canadian Citizenship papers. These citizens will be welcomed by the Mayors of Kitchener and Waterloo, local Members of Parliament, representatives of K-W Oktoberfest Inc. and the School Board. A citizenship Court is an impressive and moving experience. Visitors are welcome and encouraged to attend.
