Schedule for Event

10:00 am - Registration Begins

10:30 am - Junior Idol Competition

12:00 pm (noon) - Oktoberfest Idol Competition

2:00 pm - Top 5 Junior Idol

2:30 pm - Top 5 Oktoberfest Idol

Contestants must register in person the day of the competition. No pre-registration.

Cost is $20.00 for Oktoberfest Idol competition and $10 for Junior competition (cash only); due day of competition.

Senior Competition:

Contestants for Oktoberfest Idol must be 14 years of age and older. Junior Competition contestants must be between 8 - 13 years of age. Contestants under 18 years of age requires the consent of a parent or guardian.

Proper identification is required.

You must bring your own personal CD. Please choose two songs, the second song reserved for if you become a finalist. No musical instruments are allowed and keep in mind your burnt CD may not be compatible with the sound system. Advised to bring two CDs in case of incompatibilty.

Song length will be 1 1/2 minutes and song must start at beginning. Finalists will sing full songs.

Both Winners will:

• Ride in the Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest Thanksgiving Day Parade, which is televised nationally on CTV

• Perform at Festival events
